30% return...are you delusional? T was at around $38-39 just before Covid hit in March, 2020. It has not recovered since that time! Please explain to me why this is the case if you're touting ATT stock? If it gets back up to that price then I'll be a cheer leader for T stock, but not until that time. Wall street has no confidence in T what-so-ever!
OP is cherry picking data. What they posted is generally true.
It's also true that T is down nearly 6% over the last 9 months.

T is terribly under the Large Cap and Total Stock Market returns for 3, 5, and 10 years.
No one can cut their way to growth and prosperity.

I see what you did there, I recognize sarcasm when I see it. Thus, 30% of a tu-d is still a tu-d.
When the feds cut rates, AT&T dividend will look even more attractive. Unless you prefer getting a lower rate on your money, then it won't be attractive.
If T had the available cash, they could do a buyback program to their stock in order to elevate the share price...if they had the cash to do so!

The only thing holding ATT stock share price at the 18-20 range is the dividends they offer. Else this would be down to 2 bucks a share. When the Fed start cutting rates, watch and see what happens to att stock price. Then the executives, managers will actual need to do some work for the share price to remain where it currently is.
