Thread regarding Cummins Inc. layoffs

Terminated, but still regularly consulted

I was terminated in March last as a result of self protection political games from my manager. Naturally this also terminated all the knowledge of a significant project I managed for over 3 years.

Since then, I still get regular calls or texts asking me for help, information or assistance. Despite my message to VP and several directors asking them to refrain from this pointing out I am no longer responsible for filling their self created knowledge gap; it continues on regular basis.

Conclusions:
Cummins management is delusional.
Cummins has a knowledge problem.
Cummins doesn't give a damn about certain genders and prioritizes dei over project success.

There's an old joke about the retired engineer who got called back to fix the machine he'd built for the company. He agreed and showed up. Briefly looked at the machine, picked up a hammer and tapped it lightly. The machine sprang back to life. Smiles all round and he left. The next week, the company received his bill. $1M. Why so much?!?! the company asked, you only tapped the machine? The engineer said look at the invoice. On the invoice was: 'Hammer tap - $1', 'Knowing where to tap - $999,999'. Good luck with harassing calls.

CMI management has no morals. They pretend to be virtuous, but they are the cheapest vial creatures imaginable. When they contact you again, hang up and give them the only thing they deserve: a middle finger

This is OP
I did get a lawyer and according to him I had a good case for harassment, even at the point of termination. But the finances would not make sense as in legal terms my damage was limited.

No, I never provided replies or info.
I did propose a 1000 $ an hour fee with a minimum of 4 hours. Still holding for the PO ;-)

Better than that, tell the next VP or director who calls for help on the project that you will help if you are given a million dollars for consultation this year. And if you need me for next year, pay me another million dollars for consultation.

Send them an invoice for consulting. Let's say about $500 per hour?
