Does the bonus structure differ? Even if they have the same title e.g. senior lead.

Wells is very very good at "pat on the back" titles. They know that the pyschological profile of a typical knowledge based worker can be used to their advantage. They know the probability is high that the most of us over time will become complacent and start to question ourselves, become insecure about our abilities to earn a living elsewhere.
But am I a VP! Woah!
A Senior VP? Woah! Woah!
Zero people are truly passionate about tellering or servicing mortgages or supporting technology or being a manager at WF. It is a job, not a career here. But we get just enough pay and benefits to stick around that the desire to hustle evaporates. Kaput!
So why am I here on this site? Excellent question, let me have it. WF certainly doesn't care, maybe you do?
As far as bonus goes the new structure scr*ws you over either way, even moving from Lead to Senior Lead. I received a promo beginning of 2022 but ended up getting less bonus as Sr Lead because "we only look at prior year bonus and the promotion isn't a factor". Last year's bonus was under Lead title, yet I ended up with less this year because dept target was reduced 5%. Moving away from target % was their way to save a few pennies.
Nope at one annual review they gave me a cr---y merit and gave me VP and made it a huge deal. I would have rather gotten bigger merit
Officer titles are worth lint and used gum nowadays.
The corp titles are to stroke your ego and have no real meaning. Meh.
As a side note, looks like these corporate title “promotions” are no longer being given out, unless maybe if one is moving to a new role with an inherent corporate title. There always used to be several corporate title advancements announced every year in my department and this year there were zero.
If there was an FAQ this would be in it
Both equally super g-y titles around here
Corporate titles have no bearing on bonuses.
But in general you would expect VP to be a P4 no?
These titles have nothing to do with salary or bonus any more.
AVP and VP are meaningless titles. They get you no perks. They used to get you extra vacation days, but that was years ago.
AVP and VP do not matter. Grade number does.
