I opted in for the automatic import to TurboTax. Just started my taxes and of course, it doesn't work. You have to provide WF's EIN and the "Control number" in box d for it to import. Doesn't like the control number apparently - so I guess I'm manually entering.
Why is it so hard to get anything to work properly?
Good thing the wife just left Wells after 25 years. My control # didn't work either. It has been one thing after another and getting worse, just like their employee culture.

Same with me, had to do picture of it, this fe--s hole can't get even the simplest thing right.
I think you have to go into Workday and select something to allow sharing information etc. At least I remember doing that. Another win for Workday...
Same with me today using Turbo Tax, had to manually input my W2. Also had to manually input my dividends pmt from EQ Shareowners. Not hard but annoying.
I've never been able to import our W2's. I use the HR Block product. I just key it in.

Had the same issue so I swapped to uploading a picture of it. Had no issue using the upload. Just another executive mismanagement.
In the control number it should be a / and not a .
I took a picture of the w2 and just uploaded the jpg

But you can use the scan a pdf feature in turbo tax to scan the wells W2. Better then entering it manually
