Sick Hours count as In office?

I heard PTO counts as in office, but what if it’s only 1 hr of pto? What if it’s 1 hour of sick leave?

“You can only take PTO in 4 or 8 hour increments. Sick time might be different.”

This is incorrect. If you are exempt (basically salaried), you take PTO in days or half days. BUT hourly employees record PTO by the hour. Read the Employee handbook!

I don't believe you can take an hour of PTO. However, if you are hourly you can use flex time and make up the one hour absence.

Why would you report an hour PTO? If someone is watching me that closely I’d be gone.

Every RTO post shows the dwindling intelligence levels of people too lazy to get off their a$$es and get into the office. One hour of sick time? Give me a frigging break.

yes an hour of PTO on a day will show as a "PTO" day on the reporting, and count as in-office... however, managers have also been advised to look out for people who are gaming the system with things like this, and it's easy to see from the reporting. If you are doing that it will also be grounds for disciplinary action. No "loopholes" need to be closed. Don't try to game your way out of this. it won't end well for you.

One hour of sick leave? WRF is that? A new one hour virus?

can we be done with rto questions. we get it, very few people like it. get over it and get into the office. if you don't like it then find a job that will let you be remote.

Why in the holy F do you people keep asking questions about RTO? Seriously shut the F up, sit on your hands, bite your tongue and light a cigarette and burn yourself with it anytime RTO questions come to mind. Right now it’s wholly ambiguous and you have all kinds of outs. When they close all the loopholes you’re stuck. Just do whatever you want and if someone tries to call you out you have plausible deniability.
