Thread regarding SS&C Technologies layoffs

Any more layoffs coming up

Imagine how excited I felt when I heard about layoffs on valentines day, then imagine the disappointment that I didn't get tapped on the shoulder.

Anyone have the buzz of a 2nd layoff??

Wonder what the blue prism team is thinking now? Great deal or sell to the devil…

The merge between the US and UK is a real pinch-point for almost all teams, standards are being dropped to facilitate US 'standards', cr-p UK PMs who are yes-men (not all) to US paymasters and even UK Executive board members being whipped into line by SS&C (US) directors. Do like me and let it fall to sh*t quietly and get out at the right time before anyone can point the finger.

Read this when you have time its the grant of annual equity to NEO (named executive officers)

Whilst we are putting in a shift and getting no bonus this year, these guys are bringing in the money, think about these numbers the next time you go to do the extra mile!

William C. Stone - Chief Executive Officer - $15,000,000
Rahul Kanwar - Chief Operating Officer - $12,000,000
Patrick J. Pedonti - Chief Financial Officer - $5,000,000
Jason White - Chief Legal Officer - $4,500,000

Major eye roll with that email from good ol' Billy today.
A personal favorite 'it's easy to whine and moan instead of rolling up one's sleeves and getting to work'
Beyond tone deaf as per usual 🙄

Again another irrelevant email from our 'out of touch' CEO - Billy Stone who is musing about his fathers birthday, the great US depression (no bonuses this year Billy - we are depressed), more useless ramblings about the great depression, Dow Jones and some b*llocks about the company being strong.

As motivating a floating tu-d in a toilet you are desperate to use.

We salute you Billy (not).

This company is good in terms of learning processes, try and improve them (wrestle) and get some of it done then moving onto a company and doing it all properly, a great stepping stone.

All the people who have left this place have gone on to better things - bar none, including me!

More outsourcing to India is CONFIRMED. BPO will be cut / Automation ramped up.

The 10% number Is from a press/earnings release which I, of course, can't find now.
