Keep getting bounced around in this crazy company... I have not had the same manager for more than 1 year. Now, moved to a group that came directly from DTV and they now manage mostly all AT&T Employees... now it is live that culture inside of AT&T Culture (not that either are any good), but in all honesty, there is a lot of hostility from these old DTV people thinking the people that report into them had something to do with the takeover and destruction of their old company... you can tell and feel the differential treatment of those of use who are and have been AT&T, and the preferential treatment of those who were DTV... can't wait till surplus come, we know who will go first ... WTH? This company is going down quicker than a good Bourbon.

Yeah about every year to year and half is about right. At least you get to change azz holes regularly instead the same one all the time.
mergers are never good for the employees
To the op, give thanks for you still have your job! Now stop wasting time on social media and get back to work! 🙄
Altomari is a good guy. What are you talking about?
I saw the same thing when ATT purchased NCR. There was the US and THEM mentality that ATT employeeas had to deal with while working for NCR managers. They took care of their own people and never gave ATT personnel any consideration for advancement or training. It was a total cluster!
I saw the same thing when SWB bought AT&T. Legacy T managers took over and that left a bad taste with the SWB managers. A lot retired because of it in my organization because of it.
They might be mad but those old DTV Mgrs had to be on top of their game to survive. Coverage, documentation had to be done timely or they were escorted out the door. World a lot of them grew up in.
They gotta get their pound of flesh. Paybacks are a bi--h.
Yup, the DTV folks are generally really angry and bitter folks. I mean, I kind of get it based on how everything went down...but that said, their company was going on a downward trend regardless. Our leadership just sort of accelerated the inevitable.
I have the best solution for that fix. Go get a job with DTV. A lot of you DTV people took away jobs from our legacy people.
25 years 13 managers here. You’re just getting started
