Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

For those that do RTO

Please turn off your phones and the sound on your PC. I don’t need to hear a ding every time you get an email or text.

Bring earbuds and/or a headset. I don’t also need to participate on your conference call when you put your phone on speakerphone. Go into a conference room if you need to.

I will call you out if this is you.

Any other bothersome habits anyone would like to add?

I had this one co worker before Wells who would continually scrape the bottom of her yogurt cup for every last drop. Then another co worker loved to slurp that last ounce of his cola. Can you just hear that tapping from the wooden spoon and that slurping on that straw ? It NEVER goes away!

I don't really care what CPG "plans" rooms to be used for. They are id--ts and have NO idea what employee's needs are. If I have to sit in a "focus room" or "huddle room" or (insert ridiculous euphemism for private space here), I will. If CPG wants to show up and kick me out, ok, I'll go home, no problem. Unfortunately, they won't. I'm not sitting in an open area, period, end of discussion. No one in my building has a business need to know what I'm saying, what I'm hearing, or what's on my screen.

all scenarios of working in cubies in the office.....been this way for decades.
I never have liked smelling my cube neighbors pungent soup at 9am .. my cube neighbor loud phone calls...the list goes on... just do what you have to do to get that badge swipe

When all of the offices are taken and you need a closed door space for your hours of back to back meetings and you are trying to be considerate of others and also minding your sanity, the focus rooms then become your office. We need more offices. But we won’t get them because that would make too much sense. Sense has no home here these days. So sorry about hogging the focus room as my office for the day, but what alternative has been provided??

The focus rooms are not your private office for the day

Yes! 1000x this! I was in an office with higher cube walls recently, and all I could hear for hours on end was the person beside me taking calls on speakerphone and/or Teams with the audio coming through their PC speakers.

I had almost started to tune that noise out when the same individual introduced what must have been the crispiest bag of potato chips into the mix and proceeded to eat them one by one, slowly and emphatically crunching while listening to their status call.

Sounds like maybe you need to bring earbuds to work, then others will not bother you.

If I have to come in I'm bringing my whole self to work. Anything less would go against clearly stated executive priorities.

The only crying there will be is when no conviction comes in. You'll be wailing in no time. Take your political nonsense elsewhere.
