Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Change management town hall

Don’t know how many of you were watching this Town Hall this morning. SP joined for a few minutes- late I might add- and proceeded to talk about what a poorly managed company we are and implying none of us are doing anything right. Well dude the poor mismanagement starts with you and the rest of the OC. Point the finger at yourselves along with the rest of us - or are you too good for that sitting up in your Hudson Yards ivory tower?

“ proceeded to talk about what a poorly managed company we are”

Hard to believe he would throw CS under the bus like that.

Haven't attended a TH since one was held at the Masonic in SF in the early 2000s.

It's not like if you miss a Town Hall you'll get caught off guard with a quiz the next day. I haven't found a reason to attend one of those in years, would rather pour milk over my Cheerios than over Count Corporatey cereal.

SP is a world class POS and I refuse to listen to him or read anything he says. When he leaves the company I'll listen to that, until then, he can F right off.

Wow, a colleague of mine got forced out of Commercial Banking 2 weeks ago too. She was a high performer. I'm sure the corporate "culture" which management talks about while getting their bonuses is so special.

Everything in the Bank now has to be in the image of the JPM God. How in the world did we ever get things does before SVB and the JMP clown car occupants? God Bless all of us poor b@st@rds.

All the "change" and risk management processes existed until the JP Morgan leadership came in and burned it all down along with our tools.
Now they have the audacity to claim they are creating something we never had.
Arrogance without bounds - Wells was a great company that had some unchecked ne'er do wells in it.......if those criminals had been prosecuted up front - the JP Morgan BSers would not be here with false claims

There is the "Perfect World" where all the C-Suite live. Everything is in perfect order and bonuses are rich. Then, there is the "Real World" where the workers live. This is where the train is off the tracks and confusion abounds. BPPA, Agile, and all the other AD-Hoc processes are nutso - business and technology are completely unaligned.

Maybe WF could actually let us be professionals in our respective roles, foster a culture of learning and advancement? Wouldn't a more experienced staff help make the necessary changes to reduce costs for the bank? Wouldn't a more motivated staff be open to adversity, be more understanding?

The best part in this scenario is everyone makes money, everyone is working for the benefit of the bank instead of this US (common worker) vs THEM (executive) mentality.

We have critical care because the regular change management process has failed.

That was a bizarre comment from our senior leadership in today's town hall. Ranks right up there with Charlie's "cult" comments a while back.

SP, like Chuck, Bill and the rest of the silver spooned jokes, Peter Principled into their current roles and are clueless as they treat their job like a hobby.
