I was laid off on Tuesday. My wonderful manager had no clue really what I was supposed to do, but that's pretty much par for the course with him. Just a heads up, make sure you have that info in workday because if you don't and you get canned, it's a pain. You need to call HR, have a tix made so that info can be added. They then tell you to wait 2 days and call TC to get an okta email activation password sent to you. Well, I waited, called TC. Holy heck, TC techs are now pretty useless. It's obvious you are talking with someone in southeast Asia that has no clue wtf you are asking. Long story short, HR still hasn't updated my info, therefore I am still unable to access teamwork's at home. What a joke. So be prepared, I was not cause I didn't think i would be ousted. Lesson learned.

TC hasn’t been immune to the layoffs. That is why you are getting cr-ppy service. They are axing the agents who have been there for awhile and now they are filling the ranks with agents from India or from a temp agency. The new agents are merely message takers. Training is non existent. Why train you when you will likely be gone in about 60 days. Those who are still there with over 10 years of service are bracing ourselves because it’s not if but when the axeman comes. Try asking Saul the hard questions in his AMAs and you will be ignored.
Commercial Banking is reorganizing. Unfortunately, the layoffs are coming.
Took 3 days and I'm in. And I'm not really sure why I cared cause you there isn't much one needs to do in workday after you are let go. Make sure you cancel any pto scheduled because for some reason that will count against you. Huh? If you want to know who was let go in your dept, area, etc... check the org chart in workday. Peoples name will have (leave) after it. Because as we all know, those users are on leave, lol.
Oh, if you get canned, open Rally and check off everything possible, so you get all that money in your HSA. Because once you are on "leave", you can't access it any longer.
Don't forget to stop taking 401k match, you can do that very easily since it's really not a part of WF. Same goes with the commuter program if you take money out automatically.
The TC agents try their best but when you have a week of training if that then you can’t expect them to perform. They hire them, throw them into a condensed training course then turn them loose. They have been quickly doing a brain drain and axing those that have been there and no how a pc works and also knows customer service. With the new hires they were just brought in to beef up senior managements metrics so they can receive hefty bonuses.
My information was in Workday, and I still didn't have access to teams at home when they laid me off.
OP, what was your area and location? If you don't mind
Important indeed! They will email access to Cisive, an off boarding portal that provides a checklist of things you need to do. Not the least of which is the severance package agreement which needs to be signed within 45 days. Okta verification has worked fine for me, it take a couple of days for them to send the email. Workday at home is limited, some would useless!
It's a bit confusing at a time when you really don't need more confusion in your life.
Good luck, enjoy your summer off!
Ok, let me transfer you to someone who can actually help. Please hold.
are you surprised TC agents are worthless? they are unwilling and unable to really do anything but say hello
Yes, but in order for that to work, they need your personal email address in workday since you can no longer use your WF email address during the 60-day notice period.
To regain access to Workday you have to download Okta verify. But that doesn't work very well.
