I hVe talked to managers that got slotted into those new positions got no option of severance. Demoted or terminated get 1 week for your physical years of service min of 4 weeks but max of 20 weeks paid on regular pay periods until you run out of pay. Vaca paid 1 payment.

I wasn't expecting them to do any severance so any is a positive.

Past management offered SOME employees 1 week for every 2 years. However, if you had more than 15 years with the company, you were straight up fired (cause came under suddenly stupid), or abused until you quit. No severance. This was non-negotiable. They paid lawyers to rip former employee to shreds if they asked for severance. This included, but was not limited to, notes in employee files that were never shared with the employee.
Sorry you are part of this gross legacy.

It’s one weeks pay for each year of service for a minimum of 4 weeks of pay.

4 weeks MINIMUM - REALLY?

Clarification, no severance for those offered a promotion. Take it or just get vacation.
