I don’t think people outside risk realize how bloated and ineffective it is. Even the groups within risk have 5x the people reviewing the work than actually doing the work. It is absolutely mind boggling. The amount of people sitting around and focused on one tiny risk segment is asinine.
If we want to trim the headcount, this is where it needs to start
That whole team should go.
@elz+1lK7BybN, amen. There's lately been chatter about mortgage and commercial/corporate folks deserving the axe on this board. It's hard to understand the logic of trimming revenue groups or those only one degree from the customer before considering groups like Corp risk which are so incredibly costly. It's non-value add at best, wasteful otherwise.
I have a feeling you’re completely expendable and your team is well aware of how little you accomplish. You aren’t as bright as you think you are, that’s a guarantee. Especially true if you work in risk
@jgg I prepped all of today's work on Friday, I don't have to do anything till a littler bit later.
Don't hate because you have a slave-driving job. Get a job where your professional skills and time management abilities can enable a relaxed life.
Choose to not be busy. Choose efficiency. Or STFU.
Talking about work and looking at work is ALL we do anymore. Actual work? Ain't nobody got no time for dat.
Can only hope, there are 5x the people reviewing work than actually doing the work. Hilariously mismanaged
