Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Things I DON'T miss about WF....

  • filling out a multi tab complicated form with inadequate character spaces and illogical instructions for every little thing that needs to get done at the bank.
  • rude managers.
  • rude coworkers.
  • having to "follow up" on things more than three times, be it deliverables, systems access, anything you can think of.
  • walking other people through their job and then being back stabbed for it.
  • 401K match only once per year on the last day of the year.
  • decreasing bonuses.
  • stack ranking.
  • favoritism.
  • different rules for different people for RTO- are you in the "in crowd" or not?
  • sucking up is more rewarded than doing a good job and going above and beyond.
  • putting together "job aids" knowing you're going to be replaced by those reading them- like having to build your own coffin.
  • arbitrary layoffs.
  • pointless Town Halls.
  • no leadership.
  • no guidance.
  • no support.
  • no direction.

Telephony and monitored phone calls. Id--ts listening in on our phone calls and getting abused for missing a phone call because I had to go to the bathroom. Reporting on how many phone calls we had each day. Shame on WF for such a disgusting report. You are worried about missing a call instead of all the fraud committed.

  • Dr. B.
  • No more cultish “Team Member” so spend a LOT of money to remove any reference to it! What a powerful, strategic CEO decision that was!! Lol

Trying to figure out what that Indian/Phillipino guy/gal just said. Slowing it down and filtering out the honking horns.

The wonderful and momentous JIRA / Service Now debacle, plus the 100s of forms needed to engage each and every team. Keep it confusing WF.

Exactly. Precisely why I didn’t want to return to Corporate America when I was laid off from another corporation. However, I found myself at WF. I’m trying to keep a low profile and do my job. I’m finding the usual problems like favoritism and stupid rankings/reviews. It just amazes me that people keep doing the same things everywhere.

It’s the, being a grown a-s adult and having to have forced collaborations, for me. Can’t fu----g wait til this company loses their talent and is stuck with the bottom of the barrel lowlifes who keep it down. Do yourselves a favor and at least look at jobs posted out there- you may just find something you’re interested in. Spend less to save so even if it’s less of a salary, you’ll be HAPPIER, which is just as good as buying your happiness with the wf slave wages. Just a thought!

You've just described just about every job in Corporate America.

I play it straight on this site and generally grateful for a job but do question periodically why I put up with WF. I am supportive of anyone that leaves, I totally understand, I do troll some here for emotional hysteria and the whiners who are clearly part of the problem. I also find it weird people have left and bother posting on this site since it like breaking up with someone in an abusive relationship but look them up on social media. However, this post is SPOT ON. Every single thing here is what happens at WF. So much dead weight that sit around all day telling you why they cannot do things, how it is your fault, so you just do their work since that is so much easier than listening to their whining. I could go on but just read the post again.
