There are so many do nothing employees at this company. Most of them cant even lift a broom or pick up the paper towels they drop on the floor. Most employees blame everyone else except themselves for the performance of AT&T. Take a long hard llook at the person in the mirror and the problem stands directly in front you. If it so bad and you are so unhappy please quit and save all us from your misery.

I have friends that work in CRE and they have no idea what this post is about. It must be referring to a specific group within CRE?

Will there be any Directors cut now that the 1st and 2nd lines of CRE are being surplused?
Probably not, AT&T will remain as top heavy as before.

Plenty of spare cubicles in my market area. All the AT&T owned buildings are in lousy neighborhoods so they can't find a buyer. So plenty of spots just have to drive around the g-n fire to get there. LOL

The last several years CRE has been given a limited budget. Another issue has been many managers weren’t following up and doing inspections of contractors “completed tickets”. Many contractor tickets are just closed without any work being done so multiple tickets continue to be built for the same issues. Contractors are becoming enriched by the lack of oversight and accountability. Like what happened to Fleet years ago, I see it only getting worse.

Some collab zones have shrunk to the conference table with everyone pulling up a chair. Good luck concentrating or being productive!

The collaboration zone in my area has shrunk from three buildings with multiple floors, to just one floor in one of those buildings. Parking is very limited and the floor itself has somewhat "sleazy" feel to it. It's very depressing going back there. It feels like returning to a neighborhood months after a natural disaster struck. Really an unpleasant vibe. I do wonder how many leases AT&T has not renewed. Seems like the zone in our area is running on a shoe string.

Our office bldg and many others look like abandoned buildings. Air filters haven’t been replaced in years. Parking lot is full of potholes. All landscaping is dead. The inside of bldg is absolutely filthy and disgusting. CRE should be eliminated!

A large storm came though the night before and the basement has standing water, the cable vault has standing water, actually it is getting deeper as the ground water is seeking equilibrium. Not my phucking problem. Call JLL or CBRE. Do not worry me with these issues. I used to care. I do not anymore.
No AVP's numbers are so important and none of them are so urgent that we cannot tell the them to go hide and phuck themselves.

Anyone from CRE besides the obvious, have any comments or insights to the strategy for this recent development?

In our area in a matter of a few years we went from the CO’s full of people to 1 ET running around to several offices like a one-legged person in a bu-t kicking contest. Same area, had 5 full crews of Repair and Installation spread out in different turfs. They now been have reduced through attrition, to 1 crew covering all of the turfs. Construction had 5 to 6 crews too they have been reduced to 2 crews now and It’s not just because of technology either, business is way down. Not good!!

At @wnp+1lFFn2Kh

What an East Palestine style Train Wreck!

You forgot to mention; Micromanaging, bootlicking, azz ki$$ing, stepford wife acting, PPt report making, social pandering bunch of sycophant and leaderless position holders. They pi$$ off the majority of their employees and customers with their horrendous buy high, sell low, raise rates while doubling down with a dash of woke strategies.

Good luck recruiting skilled, educated and business minded people in the future. Who wants to work for a company that has a “nobody is safe” mindset with an ongoing degradation of benefits while selling off asset after asset. They obviously can’t run a growth oriented and merit based business if it bit them in the assets!!

Went from approximately 300k to about 155k employees in a matter of a few years, Choo-chooooo, all aboard for the next train wreck coming your way!!

JLL is the immediate option for outsourcing. The vendor will be changed to save money at the first possible opportunity.

Boy oh boy those 100+ millions dollar deals they did…….was like a torpedo in the side of this place……. Selling everything of value to pay off that mistake and we’ll be left with nothing of real value……. How are these people still in charge????

JLL is expensive. How is outsourcing to them cheaper?

I have the same question.

With all the layoffs it is amazing to me people still get excited over the town halls, game show antics and all the other ridiculous things happening in the name of boosting morale.

We own such little real estate now that a large number of CRE staff could easily be cut with no impact.

Just when we were planning to auction off all central office facilities and lease them back. This company has become a house of cards. They lease everything and own nothing! We literally have no physical assets left. 50 years ago we owned the world.

Now they've gone too far. We were told we would be the last to go before bankruptcy. We've been hoodwinked big time. Thanks Stankey and Santone!
