For those supporters of 45, please stop crying about people being unfair to your boy.

The nonstop crying from 45 and his supporters is weird. Billionaire? POTUS?

So sad for him!

He didn't do anything the GOP and half the Dems do, he deregulated.

Banks and railroads.

Yeah, this didn't cause the derail in Ohio, it'll cause some problems somewhere else.

Regualtions are government protecting Americans.

You can't trust banks especially to regulate themselves, they've proven this time after time.

This is not 2008, but there are going to be a lot of very rich people who wanted the regulations relaxed and who don't pay jack in taxes want you and me to cover their losses.

No bailouts for rich creeps.

Frankly I am tired of Trump being blamed for everything that goes wrong. The current administration needs to take responsibility and accountability of their actions and work on correcting them. Corporations, healthcare, education, financial institutions, need to focus on their employees, customers , patients, and students and not trying to be social justice warriors.

SVB was ‘sacrificed’ (some would call it an ‘induced panic’) to get the attention of the Federal Reserve- to stop the direction of ‘madness’ it was on (in the minds of some). Time will tell if it succeeded.

The Orange Man had nothing to do with it.

There's never a story about prudent regulation causing a bank collapse or environmental disaster.

Just sayin'.

Paul Krugman isn't an economist, guy is an absolute snake and total joke. We all know for a fact the only thing regulators are good for is showing up on the battlefield and stabbing the injured. We've been brainwashed with 100's of hours of DEI and other garbage its crazy. I even heard the regulators were telling a lot of the banks to buy treasuries telling them they wouldn't have to recognize the losses via MTM. If regulators required MTM the d-mb CRO and CFO over at SVB would have been much more likely to have bailed on those treasuries earlier on, instead of waiting for a blow up loss to be recognized. Lots of their banking customers are also going to have serious problems making payroll. This bank needs to fire all these DEI headcount and start paying people with real intelligence more money fast, and change the learning center courses quick.

Well ladies and gentlemen, the Titanic is sinking.

This clown opened his mouth and he is always wrong.

"Meanwhile, Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman tweeted early Saturday that SVB's strength was cultivating relationships within Silicon Valley, and said it's unlikely this moment will compare to the Lehman Brothers collapse during the 2008 financial crisis."

Ah, the reason they failed is because inflation went wild after Trump, they were over allocated in treasuries and when interest rates went up to tame the inflation, again all under biden (Obama), when the run started the could not sell and collapse... Maybe the CRO should have been paying attention to Interest Rate Risk not items like equity and climate change. iLibs, promise everything, deliver nothing, blame everyone else. Dont worry though with fixed elections and RINO collaborators this utopia will continue.

There is truth to it. He rolled back regulations on smaller banks that are now at the center of concern about small banks.

Trains, banks, someone better start looking more closely at that office full of paper stacked waist high of the regulations he “freed” us all from before some other catastrophe strikes.

Deregulation leads to financial crises...but I'm sure a couple Qanon nuts (well, really just the one pretending to be more so he can upvote his own comments) at paragon-of-ethical-banking Wells Fargo would never admit that.
