Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Regrets who's got them? Do you regret taking the VSP? What about the people that didn't take it?

It seems like many people are already regretting their choice.

No regrets here - wish they would let us go now. Honestly how much work is being done unless it has a turn around time. No one is doing anything in my area and the leadership act like they have no idea what is going on. Feels like the same feeling when I've been in mergers and acquisitions - all secrecy - don't do anything in case the new company doesn't want it. Honestly I think CNC died and was buried with MN, Look at the swinging door of the board of directors. Someone like Asher or others in that should have been fired after the Ambetter fiasco of missing the quarterly earnings report and now being sued by stockholders for misleading. Get me out of here - MANY YEARS committed here - no regrets helping people get the care they need but c-suite should take responsibility. London bridge should have fallen down when they shared the incorrect earnings report.

I didn’t take it. I didnt like that there were no definitive date or amount listed.. I read how it was all subject to change. That scared me. After the deadline, I started regretting it but then seeing all the stretched out end dates made me happy that I didnt. I think I would ve been one with a 2027 end date. I fully accept that I can be part of the RIF and prepared myself mentally for it. i have been applying for new positions and even have an interview coming up.

I wholeheartedly regret not taking it. I had just had medical issues and major dental work so I couldn’t afford to lose my job in less than 60 days. However, I could’ve been alright if I knew for sure the departure date would be later in the future. Now I’m worried they’re going to try to micromanage the rest of us out. The way this whole process was rolled out is terrible!
