I'm thinking about joining our grossly overpriced onsite fitness center and hop on a treadmill sometimes during the day. You have to badge in/out of course in our surveillance state. Anyone know if the system would subtract this time from the 8 hour requirement?

I personally think it is a great idea. Yes we are supposed to be collaborating not nose down in a computer screen. Also, it is not a bad idea to have an iwatch. It will alert you if you are getting exams messages or just on your iphone so you won’t miss anything important and you are available and can be back at your screen in a couple minutes. I think it is a healthy positive thing to do.
Yes you can do this. You need to be mindful of leaving your computer activity on idle for too long, if you're in a group that's doing activity monitoring. And being slow to respond to teams messages can be a problem for some roles. But it doesn't count against your badge monitoring.
I go to the on-site gym sometimes instead of going to lunch.
I once got busy in a Burger King bathroom
@bc she says she doesnt know, ya creep
Before going to the gym, find your ba--s and talk to your manager.
I was engaged in in-person collaboration, boss.
in office hours is first badge (or connection to the network) and last badge (or connection to the network). unlimited in/out. If your screen activity is being tracked though... that's a different story
Funny. I thought about the same however i am pretty sure there is no deduction. It could come into play for screen time tracking. The gym would be no different then if you went to cafeteria in another building for coffee or a snack, or tech connect
