Is anyone else dealing with tone deaf leadership? Everyone has an opinion, but trying to gaslight people into thinking this is good for all is absolute bullsh-t. Taking the VSP isn't best for everyone. Even those of us dealing with burn out who feel ready to move on can’t just jump ship if our financial footing is unstable. Some of these so called leaders need to stop telling us how to feel about our livelihoods. I guess it's easy for someone pulling in mid to high six figures to believe that taking the VSP is an easy win.

@a2 It appears you’ve taken a wrong turn and landed on the wrong website.
You have all the tools necessary for critical thinking and this is how you use them? What a shame.
Perhaps dislodge that boot from your esophagus and see if the fresh air restores some of those IQ points for you.
@a2 Spoken like someone completely detached from the financial reality of the rank and file. Telling people to "shift our perception" when our livelihoods and families' stability are on the line isn't just tone deaf, it’s pure gaslighting! Of course it’s a "business-driven financial decision" for the Centene. But for the those of us who can’t afford to jump ship, despite how "good" these buyouts are perceived, the real world impact is devastating. Telling us to take concerns to our PL's when some PL's themselves are part of the problem is a joke, and not a funny one. Stop treating financial anxiety as a corporate PR problem that just needs a mindset shift.
@OP we just got a message from our new boss who missed the meeting where we found out were are being offshored and all she said was “this is healthcare and it’s ever evolving and is always uncertain” they don’t care about us little people. Which we already knew but they could at least treat us like we’re humans. Especially considering the market they are forcing us all back into.
The VSP results match what individuals applied for, so the ongoing complaints are unexpected. If you feel leadership's tone is missing the mark, please take those concerns to your PL. We need to shift our perception here. These changes are business-driven financial decisions, not personal attacks.
