Thread regarding SAS Institute layoffs

Bonus Targets

Even managers have been kept out of the loop as to how these targets were calculated, so I thought it would be helpful to try to crowdsource some info and come up with a model. If you don’t mind, post your target here and some info about your role. Dont be too specific as we want to maintain our anonymity. I’ll start: 12%. Front line manager in global engineering.

@fr It wouldn’t have been discussed for 15 years because it is brand new.

Bonus targets? I worked in CIS for 15+ years and that was never discussed.

@OP As a front line manager I’m curious if in this new system managers had any say in the numbers and if they even see them for their employees.

And the goals are not a rigged game. The defeatist on here need to be the next round of layoffs.

Desperately need to bring AB back to get this Institute moving in the right direction. Include the letter "e" in your reply if you agree!

IMHO they could say 40% and it won't matter because the goals are unattainable. And some portion of them are intentionally so, in order to rig the game.
