Used to be Dell employees who left Dell would come back at some point to work at Dell, this is no longer true not sure why

Because the same lousy VPs and senior tech staff are still there misdirecting their areas. Until they leave, Dell will continue the downward spiral.
I got laid off by Dell a long time ago, spent 9 months looking for something but couldn't find anything. Was a bit desperate and when something came through for me, I went back to Dell. GIGANTIC MISTAKE. I should have known better, my fault.
@be Limerick is a tiny town in middle of nowhere..
The company is in a “right sizing” (down sizing) phase with periodic freezes on external hiring.
Secondly, the culture and leadership have declined.
We learn the first time…
Who wants toxic?
We've hired several people from the outside this year in the US at I9 and I10 levels.
Surprising the amount of peeps that returned to Dell Limerick over the years... guess the devil you know is the easier option rather than try to make it in a unfamiliar company
You would be an absolute mo--n to be hired on at Dell right now. Not that there are any opportunities outside of "low cost regions".
@OP Because everyone knows Dell is a shiithole company. People want to leave, not come back.
they are not wanted back of course. You dont continue to make the same mistake
@Allen F
Who would want to work in a place where they find you? You’re the reason they asked for wfr.
More trolling.
You truly cannot figure out why? Good god, are you completely braindead?
@a4 your comment makes more sense then anything I have heard lately. My name is Allen by the way
I can think of 5 people right now who left in the last two years that have come back in the last 6 months, three were wfr and two left voluntarily
Because there are no open reqs and if you come back you’ll probably just get laid off anyway. Stating the obvious but, if you left Dell WTF would you go back?
