Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Agents have spoken!

Recently attended an Agency travel trip with the top SF agents in the company. The common feedback shared with Chairman’s Council and other executives during the trips sessions was agents have lost TRUST with SF senior leadership. Wow….That speaks volumes for the >20k agents selling and servicing SF products.

agents better be careful. I'm sure HCL has some indians that would love to become agents and i'm sure SF would love to save the money

@jk I love the participation award stuff. Who gave out the participation awards again? For a generation that loves screaming about taking responsibility you do not do it very well.

Being a boomer is the result of being born on a timeline nothing to do with brains or talent. Just showing up. Respect is earned not given and just because you were able to build a 3500 sq ft house in 1994 for $200k (contrary to your generation's beliefs) does not command respect.

@mn That boomer got to be a boomer by having gray matter between their ears and working their azz off. You are part of the problem with zero respect.

@jk....same Boomer troll.....Scooter! If anyone believes that the future of anything is that personalized human + Digital Touch you are brain dead! SF slowly inches you into it, gaslighting you the whole time telling you how much they want and need you while they are slowing cutting your soul to pieces the whole time...under mining everything telling you it is the best thing for you. Its going to be even funnier to watch it on the agency side, the ones that pride themselves selling something get sold a load of BS! Back up the truck!

@f5 more salary envy from the participation trophy award generation.

Accept the facts, rich people aren't holding you back, boomers aren't holding you back.

Look inward to see why you are the first generation to not be able to cope and do better than the previous generations.

Isnt it amazing that a company who places so much emphasis on trust and character is finally being exposed for the crooks they are?

Exactly, agents should have been shown the door 20 years ago! They are all independent contractors! The average agency compensation is around $520,000 with a 40-60% expense load depending on the agent. Employees lost all trust over a decade ago so stop crying agent's. SF has babied you too long and placed you on a pedestal that you do not deserve. There are some good agents out there, but a lot of the agents have been robbing the company blind countless years!

If agency doesn’t like how things are going , they can just leave . Isn’t that what has always been told to operations sparky ? Comedy !

sf is akin to a rudderless ship. the dot.com market is something they simply cannot cope with. progressive's actuarial models are simply better. no one wants to admit that. what should happen is a house cleaning in actuary.

Sad that the company in operations and agency has lost respect for leadership. I know the customer has as well.
