Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Truist Job Elimination

The company eliminated the jobs of multiple employees. They only told them that their job was eliminated on their last day with no previous warning, giving no time for them to find other positions. The company rather had these employees spend their time training other people, who work outside the US on their position. Some did not even get to finish training these individuals. The company also filed their termination as “early retirement” rather than an actual elimination.

@tg well, they do get paid for every post. In all seriousness, the tech and overall Truist overposting on Linked In is comical. Trying way too hard to convince everyone on the outside that things are going well when the exact opposite is true.

And let’s not forget the golf tournament and new baseball sponsorship so they can show how much business they “might” or “possibly” get. That video of Bill Rogers had us laughing in our office. He was bragging after the golf tournament spouting figures on “possibly” like an id--t. Show me the real results.

Is this TD&O?

Steve Hagerman and friends posted on LinkedIn how great things are going despite knowing they had a hand in eliminating people from their positions.

@qr did more people get laid off and in what department A manager with the initials DT got laid off last week she's in Atlanta. She should have been FIRED not laid off. They must be cleaning house. If Truist don't step it up the entire bank will collapse!

They finally got rid of a rude manager that was allowed to run rampant fire excellent employees that would not conform to her. If they listen to the employees the bank may last longer. Get out before the ship sinks

It’s horrible, but who honestly thought they would have a job at this horrible place after you train your overseas replacement. If you weren’t job hunting during that time, you really were foolish.
