splunk victoria experience is overhyped
@1a2 Greetings of the day! The majority of Splunk support has been that way for 5+ years. This is not news to customers and Splunkers who have been here for a while.
Splunk support has gone downhill since C acquired them.
They went from a "can do" mentality to "not my problem, we will need to escalate this to engineering. We'll get back to you someday".
leadership left when Doug Merritt was kicked to the curb by the board.
@hf Barney is a joke. He tried to get into Splunk years ago and they wouldn’t hire him. Tells you how far the culture and the company have fallen.
Splunk doesn’t have any real leadership other than Justin Barney, who was only recently sent over…
@fk it did exist, sure. and it will continue to exist.
but i don't see too much news about someone wanting to acquire SBG for $28bn.
What leadership? It was gone once Gary left...
that would be Cisco's loss. SBG is struggling without Splunk
SBG existed before Splunk & will exist after Splunk.
Typically, execs from companies that Cisco acquires, are given a bonus to stay on board for a specified period of time, so it wouldn't surprise me if they exit next month.
@d5 the same question applies to all Cisco EVPs :/

Leadership?
