I used to worry about layoffs occasionally. Now it's all the time. I'm exhausted. I'm thinking about job hunting even though it'll be tough at my age.

Remember just like the business tries to maximize it's profits while minimizing it's expenses. Your goal as an employee should be to do as little as possible while extracting as much salary from the company as you possibly can. Follow their example... Maximize your profits.

@OP layoffs coming last week of July. Start applying just in case..
It’s always smart to be passively applying to jobs. Even if layoffs arent a concern, you never know what amazing opportunity is out there.
