Out of interest, why would anyone, unless they had another job lined up, leave after receiving their bonus? Seems to make more sense to do the bare minimum and hope to get laid off, receive severance, unvested stock fully vests, be unemployment eligible etc.
@1mgr+1kxB8l6S … retired federal employee here (25 yrs of service), working at Wells for several years now. FYI, for every federal job posted there are thousands of apps, even for direct hire roles where they suspend vet preference, etc. But, the feds are hiring more and more remote workers for specialized roles. The feds have had telework on the books since the early ‘90s but rarely were employees allowed to do it, Covid changed that however. So a fed gov career is a good one if you can get it. My pension covers the mortgage, car payments, a few other bills. My WF salary goes right into the investment act.
Bonus payout is Feb 3. Your manager can start performance reviews around Jan 18. I think they can start communicating comp around Jan 25.
I've only been with the company since late January 2022. When does the bonus pay out? When do 2022 reviews happen? My manager is almost entirely useless so I'm always in the dark about everything.
Look at usajobs.gov Plenty of federal government good paying jobs. Search for “Direct Hire” and be sure to follow their requirements for resume formatting - it’s the key. If your a veteran, veteran preference puts you at the top of the pile.
Yawn. Another virtual tough guy who will be here and whining like a B. No one is leaving since there is no where to go.
Umm didn’t ling ling say we getting 5%? Tf???
@cty For the 10%, that's a lot of lost customers that don't get responded to in a timely manner. Too bad 1-4% raises will not keep people with the bank.
10% of CIB said they were seriously considering leaving the company, that’s 800 people. Retention is an issue 100 percent.
Retention numbers are garbage right now, so clearly SOMEONE is leaving. Might not affect your area, but there's a lot of retention issues right now in many parts of the company.
Always a lot of big talk each year about the "mass exodus " after bonuses. Always mostly the folks that just reached full retirement age or will do so in the next month or two. Everyone else stays in place like sheep in a pasture. There will be a FEW exceptions but there be no "mass exodus ".
Prove me wrong.
I hope to find a new company this year too.
Is it really going to be a mass exodus? The same talk was happening last year around the same time and job market was much better compare to what is coming….
It’s going to be a mass exit after that check drops or so thats what people say.
