Leadership has been sworn to secrecy for that reason alone. It is a big number and it will get a lot of press in Milwaukee. Extravagant north building rebuild. Eating a massive loss on Franklin. Mckinsie is leading the way. All while collecting massive consulting fees.
Blood bath needs to be 50% or more. Culture is lazy and arrogant. Brand is hot trash. Advisors are leaving and insurance sales will plummet. The company is basically a scam. We all read the Guardian article.
Is this 20% for the entire year? As in, are the current layoffs numbers counted? And is it layoffs or is it role reductions?
Contacting is how they get they work done without FTE. AI just helps the remaining FTE keep the contracting costs down.
Contractors are not included in any numbers.
20% of total people including contractors? Because it would be really easy to just get rid of LTM and Infosys with minimal disruption
Just be best friends or family members with one of the Leadership team members and you can move from contractor in another country to an exec in charge of AI. Only way to keep a job and move up at NM
I mean, if you’ve been paying attention we brought in mckinsie, quarterly restructuring, multiple levels of management laid off (harding working leaders, not just fluff), and no end in sight. There’s not enough space for Franklin on the Milwaukee campus. Basically, heads will roll. The only reason they haven’t made one big sweep is so they don’t trigger a WARN notice from the state. Don’t get me going on the cartel of indians in my department pushing out the whites and indians alike (from different regions/lower caste/muslim instead of hindi).
I’m not even sure much is getting done these days except damage control and promotions for a specific type of indian.
