How about one way earlier than this... T wanted to get in the computer field and after failed partnerships with olevetti and Intel, they had the insane idea to buy NCR....the cash register company to make their computers... almost can't make these stupid decisions up. NCR of course was ruined and only got back on their feet after later being spun back off, sound familiar? And then not under ATT was able to recover

It's almost like there is some sort of scam being run where 410k participants have their money directed to the stock mkt and those large publicly traded companies take turns spending that money between each other and the leaders of those companies sit on the same BoDs and vote to keep each other around while they all get filthy rich.
