Is anyone else hearing that July 7th is the "reorg" day?

Friends. If you get laid off, please be prepared. Job boards like LinkedIn, Indeed, Zip recruiter are all being hit at this time by literally thousands of people looking for work. You may not get responses to applications at all, you may get many rejections for positions you are qualified if not overly qualified for. If you are 'lucky' enough to get an interview, make sure you do your due diligence and learn about the company and how your services align with their needs. Trust me. I have been looking for months. It is a whole new world and it will humble you. Keep your heads up, Network if you can and good luck.
@e1 if you’re going to come in here and post, why be so vague? Seems like more pot stirring
@dw what region are you in?
@dx officially
@dw how were they informed? Officially or unofficially by their manager?
7th-10th July is what we’ve been told.
In my region those at risk have already been told though.
@OP Layoffs will start on July 7 and will continue throughout that week. There are so many people getting let go that HR can’t get to all of them in one day. Great strategy GP!
@ae because layoffs happen in the middle of the week
Seems there a quite a few business visits happening this coming Tuesday. We have people coming here to Jeffersonville to meet with managers, but no one is saying what it is about. I heard similar meetings are occurring in Kansas , Charlotte ,Chattanooga and Columbus
Yes it's July 7th. Sure why instead of Monday, July 6th but whatever
I don’t have insider information but Yes, That’s the date that keeps getting thrown around in here
