Looking at all of the American managers laid off today, and I saw several. But I didn’t notice a single manager in India with ‘zz’ in front of their name or a goodbye out of office message. Some really good American managers were let go today. Some really bad ones offshore were kept.

@14w is he still around? Total tyrant dou--e bag.
Mark DiMaggio is another. A useless, ruthless waste of life who utterly destroyed a department
The native "Z" sound does not exist in the traditional Sanskrit-derived alphabets
@ez corporate risk and independent testing
@OP What department was layed off.
@d6 I learned that almost 40% of ITV testers are based in India. Crazy.
It is sad to see good people walk out when there are plenty of bad ones around. Inept in all levels.talking about spans, many who has contractors just for the number game.
Did they come from Wells Fargo Financial?
There are many more managers and directors here than our peer banks. I worked at JPMC, BofA, and Cap1 but have seen nothing like what's here at Wells, which is be alarming!
Heard lots of people including managers were given the axe in Conduct Management. Well lots of US people, the Indian team is still fully in tact. Golly wonder why..
What group?
Spans and layers: managers should have 7-9 directs. People with less are susceptible to displacement or downgrade to indiv contributer.
inevitable with all the layoffs. fewer people, fewer managers
There are several managers who have no ethics nor analytical sense. They look for some controversy in the team to survive so they seem busy.
It is so stupid to pay someone to monitor someone for all week. 25% of time in leading rest u need to be individual contributors.
told you,
Wells will have Indian ceo one day
Which groups?
@OP Wells needs to layoff bad managers who have only negative impact to the company. One of them shall be Dina Rojas, who is not only horizontally challenged but also mentally challenged.
@OP how about providing some specific information
@OP Come on. They were expendable. They had to go. The plan has been in place for a long time already haven't you been paying attention? Good just doesn't cut it anymore. This ain't your fathers America. Wake up.
Wells is very quicly becoming Bank of India.
