I got a recurring meeting invite for tomorrow as one on one - disguised maybe, layoff? Thoughts?

@OP Nah, no need to disguise anything, it is what it is, probably layoff news!
A recurring meeting for one day in time. YIKES, that sounds like an eternal sentence in #ell. I am going to try to live a better life after reading this one.
@a5 i think it’s still mainly Tuesdays, since I received a goodbye from a former colleague on a Tuesday recently, though I have seen a director get fired on a Friday, so there are probably exceptions.
@bx ask AI how much a senior lead gets paid in india versus in California and you’ll get your answer. I am not saying that is the right thing to do, but i think the bottom dollar is what attracts the execs. It’s very sad to see how taxes in the US continues to increase but our jobs continue to be offshored, with few laws if any protecting the American labor. When does it end?
Buh bye
If it quacks like a duck ...
I already have two job offers and just waiting on the third one before I decide which one to choose and resign lol.
They want to move all the work to India however low the output quality maybe, who cares right? OK
Can the layoff be on any day or is it only on Fridays now? I remember it used to be Tuesdays earlier. My previous manager got fired on a Friday.
A layoff meeting is a max of 15 minutes so you’re good, especially if it’s a recurring call.
probably your required "check-in"
