This is very sad that most of the companies are adapting to new tech like AI and laying off due to improvements but at FIS a "BIG BANKING PRODUCT" related company people are being laid off due to poor management

Ironically, AI or at least Copilot is the one thing we're doing right. It has helped for day to day.
FISERV is doing the exact same thing.
Most of these people are useless...there needs to be a consolidation either way. There is so much fat that needs to be trimmed here. The management are so incompetent, but the non skilled employees sitting around doing nothing is just as bad. AI will destroy this company if they don't embrace it and gain market value quickly. Developing applications like FIS does is trivial now and can be done with way less resources and far more efficiently by full stack developers. Any company can do this now independently also for fractions of the cost. FIS's best move would be to sell.
