Did you guys see SV’s presentation? He has figured out that physical AI technology of RemainCo is going to change the world and shoot this company to the top. Much as his career has taken off in last 30 years with only PowerPoint slides, without ever getting his hands dirty with any tech project.
Also with UOP taking over HPS management, it’s star is going to shine. Two years ago UOP took over Solstice AM management just for four months before they spun it out and the latter’s stock price has doubled in just 6 months.

not true, SV is a thought leader and knows how to get things done. If you think you are better start your own company. He is very successful and Honeywell is far better with him than without him.
@en that's why he got demoted...not sure why HPS was moved out of IA, my only explanation is to sell it off... now knowing how indians work, probably PM knows this, so he took a demotion to stay put and ride the wave after sell off, cause most likely once PA/HPS is sold off, the CEO gets cut out, off course with a good package, but PM is trying to survive by hiding...
PM same as VK has no charisma, no leadership skills, they are just glorified admins... and they are surrounded by yes men - their cronies.
@eb as someone who worked with PM before I left this is 100% true. That man spent his whole career climbing by building a pile of sh-t under him and I can only hope that his day to face what he has built is coming.
@e5 I agree on this , and everyone can tell that JM has not clue, he too generic, and not invested at all, however, my fear is that he might be there with a sinister plan - prep PA/HPS to be sold out either as one unit in pieces... I have no other explanation to provide for catapulting him so high. He is a trojan horse. At the same we have PM doing sh.., bringing his indian cronies here and riding it to the ground, that explains the dismal numbers.
so we are between a rock and a hard place. I have been here for 25 yrs, and in last 5-10 yrs the number of indian managers has exploded, and as you know, they hire only other indians.
Wait ... is UOP overseeing HPS now? I thought they had JM with all his Private Equity experience who now gives me hope for a bright future (sarcasm!).
It’s the same song and dance from HCE in the past without the discipline to actually get there
