They just announced official targeted offshoring in the Finance division. It continues to get worse of course

@js EDJ doesn't care about rules like that anymore. All we do is let it run its course until we get popped by the SEC or FINRA, pay the fine, do some quick damage control in an amplify email, then change the subject.
@e7 let’s use some common sense here. Consider the licensing requirements all the way down to the state level.
@ga I guess we all hoped little andrew wasn't as d-mb as a box of rocks like dopey david is. This place is being run by some of the worst humans ever, including PP. My small childen think she looks like a witch in her "tick tock!" Amplify article where she is mean muggin in the photo. I guess she is trying to look tough for the wall street bros. Absolute clown show.
Andy has been blustering about this for years. Why anyone is surprised by this is beyond me.
@c9 Shut up, are you for real or just trolling? I guess our global capability center will be more than "back office support" if this is true. If true, penny should have her office cleared out by monday.
They are also planning to outsource FAs to India to save money. There will still be physical branches to keep up appearances but you have to call and it routes to an FA and BOA in India.
@bq bro, the trades departments that was once declared "too risky" for contractors now has dozens pouring into their ranks. Nobody is safe and the GPs don't care. They are clueless and detatched from reality.
Outsourcing the Finance Department to India?????
I call BS!
Outsourcing to India is about cheap unskilled labor
Are they coming to just "help" or are they coming to replace some of you like they did in operations? Operations had 100s of associates forced to train their replacements and then it was up to them to either find work at EDJ before the end date timeline (usually 3-6 months out) or find a new job. Don't worry though, every american job outsourced is another expensive bottle of wine for PP.
@a1 not much detail yet other than 25 folks from India coming to support
Dang, that’s awful but not surprising. Did they share any metrics or timeline?
