Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

What incentive was there for Lyons to stay?

You’re spending a year fixing someone else’s disaster. Activist investors are circling. Employees hate the cuts. Shareholders hate the stock. Then a top 10 U.S. bank offers you its CEO seat. Who wouldn’t take that deal?

Comp package was huge. Feels like CEO comp was enough incentive for someone who willingly pursued the job.

@OP Mike - Haven’t you done enough damage? Stay off this message board with your self-serving comments. You abandoned the company.

@a3 enough blaming Frank? He doomed us. Lyons was the sorry guy meant to take the flak for the fraud Frank and his cronies pulled by lying about organic growth.

How about someone with integrity. Mike just spent a day with Analyst and Investors sharing at Investor Day what he would do for the next five years when he knew he was never committed to being on the job while interviewing with other companies. Shameful!
Enough blaming Frank - assume Frank would have stayed I can guarantee the company would be better off than it is today (whether you like Frank or not).
