Thread regarding NetApp layoffs

Unspent PTO in the layoffs

A question for those who were laid off during the last wave, and had unspent PTO (from when they told use it up before FTO was introduced): did NetApp pay it out as part of the severance?

Yup.
Use your sick days first. Sick days do not get paid out. Only vacation.

i called FTO as "FUCx Time Off" its so unfair for us being there for more than 10 years. They just want to F us so that they don't have to pay anything if you don't have the PTO.
I didn't use mine.....and according to my director, they will pay you for what you have left on your PTO. if you only have FTO, means you are F. sorry with the words. If you haven't got lay off and know or unsure you will get lay off, HANG on your PTO as long as you can, which i did.
