Sorry but we can't find the employees involved in opening empty accounts ah like 10 years ago to tell you sorry. I find it funny though the author of this LA Times piece is himself guilty of sockpuppeting his blog, i.e. lying about his identity and fake posting.. and he mocks those who died of covid that weren't vaccinated, wiki.

Because it's a "corporate recidivist" quoting head of CFPB. And they don't care who they harm or impact, customers or employees. When you spend years harming customers who were loyal it's nothing to also harm the employees too. These fines are just a cost of doing business to them, is all.
