I'm done worrying

This place isn't worth my health or my peace of mind. What happens, happens. I've gotten out of bad situations before, I can do it again. I refuse to look back later and regret losing sleep and energy over a job that doesn't deserve it.

If you scroll through the posts here, there is a lot of wisdom. It's okay to feel some sheer te---r now and again. Doing as much as you can, as mentioned here. Control what you can. If you have children of any age, it's good for them to see how their parents deal with difficulty. They need to know that parents aren't perfect. Regardless of their age, they want to help even if playing a game of cards, while a frozen pizza bakes in the oven, let's them share the load. Separate from the digital, go for a walk with them. All of these release the stress and let everyone do their part. If you think this post is silly, then that is a sorry state of affairs, for you.

“I eventually realized that intense pressure is just the sound the company makes while it’s spinning its wheels in the mud. Once I accepted that I was essentially a highly-paid digital eraser, the stress vanished.”

Above is from a post made on here a few months ago and those two sentences alone had more impact on my mindset adjustment than anything else. What happens, happens. The only thing I can do is keep an emergency fund, apply, and just do my 40. No more late days, no more thinking about work on weekends, no more Sunday scaries. I’m not allowing the stress to ruin my health anymore.

@OP Getting there is tough; it's a very good thing that you did. It's an encouragement, but everyone experiencing it needs to process it in their own way, It's a good call out that everyone has been in tough spots before and figured it out. That can be a real bridge to moving forward.
