No...thats why the rule of thumb is to layoff and they dont have to pay for RSU. They are cunning...thats why NetApp will NEVER achieve 10 billions. i will cheer for Pure Storage.

Which is BS they don't get paid. They award them at merit time to "keep employees" and a promise of future earnings. But when the layoff decisions are made (typically in a vacuum), they pull back the RSU's. Why give them to keep you around in the first place if they don't let you keep them when NetApp decides they're done with you?! BS!
