Can the bank afford another bonus for Charlie? Can Charlie survive without it?

The employees are the backbone of a company. You see Leaders come and go. They have no issues laying off hard workers and top performers if it makes the stock look better. They get these ridiculous bonuses, salaries and stock. CEO salary should be partially based on how they pay their employees and if they are cutting expenses that should include the CEO.

The market always figures out ways to reward value creators.
He doesn't even earn his base pay, let alone a bonus.
