I don't think I could care less about work if I tried. Which is sad, because I was one of the highest performers on my team.

I got my layoff 3 years ago, but I still like to check in here every few months. I see that nothing has changed at WF.
Hang in there and get the severance if you're anywhere near retirement age...
I've been in the corporate world for 40+ years. WORST managed company ever.
I would say most people are now at the place of just don't get fired. Not too many are busting their butts anymore.
It used to be a rite of passage to show up early and leave late. A mini competition of who does more, etc.
If you GAF, then something is wrong. It is not earned or justified.
Work is work. This is not a family. You dont need to be emotionally connected to your job.
Take the money and do the minimum.
The real interesting part is seeing this attitude growing on other people. I've been mentally checked out for years now, but the last year or so, the amount of open contempt for WF that I'm sensing from other people is palpable. Whenever there's chatter before or after a teams call, if the people on the call like each other, people are pretty openly talking about layoffs and org changes and management. Pretty much everyone seems to be treating working at Wells as a "run out the clock on this horsesh-t" situation.
This vibe really took off around the time the 8 hours a day monitoring got put in place, for what it's worth.
Lately?
HY doesn't care, why should anyone else?
Your lack of output has been noted. WF will attempt to continue without your invaluable contributions.
The machine does not care. It wants to be fed.
Hope you have a few Million banked
