The biggest past baggage is still heading the testing and that is resulting in every day deterioration of Coupa quality with many escalations coming every day. Now next list of layoffs is ready just after the current events and she is destroying everything just to save her job. All strong performers under her have left because of her incompetence. Every one in testing team is trying to move to development or leave the company and only people left are those who are not getting anything else. Worst to come for Coupa quality and the remaining people !!

I wouldn't say that, but rather each QE now has to cover 2 or 3 times as many topics. So naturally less can be covered and parts of dev still have the mindset that QE will catch stuff during testing, but that testing now naturally is far less thorough and understanding of the topics is more limited so QE is less likely to catch stuff via error guessing.
GenAi also hurts here. A lot of stuff is merged with very little, if any, human effort. Neither from the comitter, nor from the reviewers. Just GenAi reviewing GenAi, which works in some areas but fails elsewhere. Not just code, but design documents as well.
Lastly, testing environments keep getting worse due to "cost saving". Some features , that require many services to all work fine, are hard to test because of the plethora of infra issues alone.
