Thread regarding PNC layoffs

Schedule watching isn't leadership

Pre-WFH, I've had two managers who obsessed over start times and break lengths. Neither of them actually knew how to lead. They just watched the clock because it was easier than doing their real jobs. It never improved productivity, but it worked for them. Those are the kind of people who want us back in the office. To hide their own failings.

That’ll show ‘em. Cuz the stock price so greatly affected by who does work that can apparently be done by a microchip.

@kf I closed my PNC account. Moved it all to multiple brokerage accounts. One of my margin accounts goes towards shorting PNC stock.

They have verint for that now regardless of in office or home, however they're replacing those jobs with offshore and bot so most in office or wfh will probably lose their job sooner or later. I know one department just added some offshore employees and were told they were merging teams and letting a few managers and a lot of employees go
