From when has it become professionally appropriate to hire husband and wife in same team?
Lo and behold this stupidness happens in Humana and in a team I know.
So husband and wife will push each other up(lol) the org and stop sharing information/hide information to avoid redundancy!
This is what Humana has come down to!
I was thinking about reporting to HR but what the fcuk since this is not my team I don’t care!

Irrespective of whether notified in job application, husband and wife should not be allowed to work on same team.
Find out the ethics email and report them ASAP!
If I recall correctly our ethics attestations asks about working with any relatives. If the people lie on the attestations and are found out, this can lead to termination.
Do an anonymous complaint to ethics. They’ll investigate and do a thorough job.
They may have ties to HR. Nepotism at its finest. In my old job, we had a CEO who hired his sister-in-law to head AR. She never held a job in her life and did not speak English. She made a lot of mistakes but people were to afraid to speak up. Thankfully, CEO got fired shortly after but she remained untouchable and incompetent.
Looks like either the person hiring couple/s in the same team Or one of the criminal couple has made the statement below. Anyways, the question is not about the husband being the wife's boss, or not; the challenge is the husband indirectly favoring the wife's growth. In addition, they will keep information confidential, not share it, and ensure their position on the team is safe and secure.
I know a team where the husband is an architect (haha) and the wife is a low-grade developer.
That husband practically designs, codes, and tests for his wife. Definitely, the couple working on the same team has an edge over others in the team. They will play nasty politics sooner or later.
Couples in a team put other team members in a bad position.
If I were on a team with a husband and wife, I would bail out of that sh*t team!

Hiring husband and wife on the same team is against professional ethics for any corporate! I’m sad to see these d-mb and good for nothing managers hire favorites (brown nosing couple) on the same team, talk sh--e about other employees (asking is she or he a troublemaker), and put favorites on a pedestal even if they made a mistake.

Yep, it happens. I’ve experienced it first hand and there was ALOT of favoritism! In fact, so much that the husband received a HUGE STAR award within six months of hire.
