I am going to enjoy life till June 30th.
Not going to train my replacement. All my skills will go with me.

@yf Don’t forget to tell your replacement that all source code MUST be printed out and debugged using highlighter pens to comply with best practice.
I was notified today that last day off employment is 6/30, and I should pass my knowledge to Cognizant, but they don’t know who that will be, or who will reach out to me 😂, well good luck with that.
@c0 in the posts of FIS I know about, knowledge is chopped up and limited to a few people. It's very easy to give really cr-p training and make it look great. Record hour long sessions talking about a system for example. Honestly some guys already at FIS are already very good at this...
@OP are you sure there is any skills left? Social one not for sure.
@ev this is how resistance movements start
I sincerely hope nobody is planning to provide “anti-training” (things like recommending installation of outdated software versions, showing non-best practice techniques) - because that would be awful and disruptive for FIS in the long term. So definitely don’t do that!
@bk only FIS would continue to give access to a large number of angry employees. They want the free training for replacements. It has not occurred to them that they have placed themselves in jeopardy. Absolutely not advocating for anyone to do so, but these executives have no thought beyond surviving each crisis when, in fact, they may have created yet another one.
If you do not "perform", then they will fire you for cause without severance prior to June 30th.
How does it make any sense to tell a bunch of people there last day is in 3 months, but keep their access to potentially sensitive information. FIS is once again asking for a major issue here. Nobody should be williningly training there replacement, you dont owe FIS anything.
@OP Perfect, Good decision
Some people were told June 30 is last day with FIS and they need to train their replacements by then.
@op did you get transferred to cognizant or laid off? If you got transferred, what is the significance of the 6/30 date?
