Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Charlie must go!!!

Company is one of the worst on the street. I’ve been talking to numerous recruiters and had interviews and they all mentioned how toxic the environment at WF is from others. The stock is also taken a beating which is what I want to do to DF, that DB.

Charlie is by far the worst CEO I've ever worked for. Its disgusting that he received a 30 Million bonus all while laying people off for years. This company is so F-ed up.

Charlie has done nothing except encourage layoffs. I also have ask why any financial advisor, knowing the firm's poor reputation, would bring clients here, or prospect for clients. Modern clients are smart and more than half won't consider Wells Fargo due to its reputation. So advisors and managers are truly mo--ns.

Charlie is doing a great job for Wells Fargo. What are you talking about? He is one of the first CEO's in awhile for Wells Fargo that puts the employee first.

@c0 there is no place to go except the unemployment line. Read Linkedin posts and you will see the market is terrible. It is not just WF employees getting booted. I wish people would stop telling people to quit. Everyone still at WF do what you can to stay working. It is scary out here. If you get terminated just know it was not your fault. Protect your health by putting it into right perspective...there is no such thing as a career now...it is survival.

I don't like Charlie. I don't respect Charlie. He's not a good leader. But it's kind of insane to rant that he should go. If you don't like or can't stand it at Wells Fargo, you're not a prisoner -- find somewhere else and leave here. Why wouldn't you just do that? I get its change and its not easy, but it sounds like being here makes you miserable and you think about it all the time, that's not healthy. I mean you're not owed a job or severance -- even if you've been here for decades. You have agency believe in you and use it.

He sent going anywhere unless the board or shareholders want him gone. As for the stock price, who cares unless you are going to sell it. It they cut the dividend then it is a problem. I would expect Chuckie to raise it next month.

Agreed! I am not too proud of saying where I work. Praying for the layoff daily. It’s too stressful to job hunt while being whiplashed from the re-orgs, layoffs and constant expectation changes. It’s exhausting! Now being forced to sit in meetings on how off shore teams will be replacing us. I can’t wait to put this place behind me. Rip off the band-aid Charlie and do swooping mass layoffs and stop this mentally damaging every other week layoffs. The worst company I ever worked for!
