Thread regarding SAP layoffs

Are we doomed?

Share price nosediving.

CK and iceman DA staying.

MA probably being replaced by JG, the person responsible for messing up HPOM by making DMs people leads (rumor has it that Marty Cagan has disavouwed SAPs HPOM implementation also due to this).

Chuck gone, RIP.

Are we doomed?

@cq
Where is this mentioned if the share price hits below 150€ that layoffs will begin?
Or if anyone else has info. It would be great to read on it

Yes, April 15th is the date the "restructuring" programs have been announced in the past. Brace and prepare yourselves everyone.

short answer. Doomed=Yes if new AI usage based licensing strategy does not work. SAP is retiring the subscription model!

Even with mass layoffs, the SAP stock price will only stabilize around €150. And in that case, there won't be enough people to actually develop features and solutions that our customers need. So not sure what the point is for all these layoffs besides keeping employees under the boot and in fear so they don't ask for anything and do not complain as executives siphon millions from company reserves as benefits and bonuses.

If you don’t think mass layoffs are coming, and soon, you are dreaming. SAP’s stock can continue to tumble with 20k fewer employees.

Is a mass layoff even on the table or will it be the toothbrushing type this year.

Asking for a friend who want to retire.

@cq good news for us. So only new acquisitions are affected. They are filled with migrants and trans fanboys so good riddance.

Eberhard Schick and the rest of the Betriebsrat along with the supervisory board made a deal with CK and the executive board to not do layoffs unless the stock price goes below €150. When it does, we are doomed. They will lay off all non-loyalists. Anyone who isn't a long-term SAP member will have to go.

We are doomed in April. When the stock goes below 150 and CK decides to cut many people off to protect his bonus.

Here's some black pilling for you.

SaaS is stagnant.
LLM AI is a grift and they are AI flogging you to try and manifest reality.
The butcher's bill is coming due for decades of free money.
Private equity is going to implode taking everything else with it.
