@jd I found out that my supervisor had input and say. They made a suggestion to select myself and then came up with business case to solidify the answer with the senior directo and they got that approved by HR and legal.

Was RIF'd twice. Neither time did my direct supervisor or Director know. Decision made at VP level. This strategy doesn't hold much water.
