Any suggestions for best job sites to apply for new job? Friends say LinkedIn - but never had luck there. What sites do you use / recommend? Been out of work 6 months & $ is tight.

don't forget smaller companies that are local that you have to go to their sites or sites like roberthalf / headhunters. these may have fewer applicants.
Individual company, hospital system, state and local government sites.
I have had good response on LinkedIn and Indeed. Its getting through the 2nd rounds of interviews and then one finally lands you an offer. Be diligent in your search. The market is not great but you can get responses and interview time.
