Any word on layoffs continuing in NJ in Mid-January? Whether employee or contractors?
Telecom, Wireless and even Research and Development facilities? I barely see anyone in the halls these days. Asking for myself if I should be worried and should I start updating my resume lol

They haven’t shut down golden boy plaza yet? The e911 group already left there a few years ago. Nothing to hang around for, move to nice warmer weather. It will feel,like retirement.

NJ.... High taxes and cost of living. Sorry attitudes. High crime. Terrible weather. Old, disgusting homes. Who in their right mind would want to stay there? Take the offer and get out while you can.
Bedminster closing but there is a new building not far from there, about 15-20 mins maybe. They already sent Bedminster folks the new ‘grand opening’ video. Tried to put a wow spin on it, but it’s nothing like Bedminster. Looks like a plain old office building with pre-social distancing, small classrooms for conferences.
NJ has a bunch of divisions, but most are in legacy parts of the business, back office and cdr data,sales etc. T is going to be looking to consolidate real estate further , now that Bedminister is essentially gone, Middletown is next as they'll likely consolidate to Building A or just close altogether once the campus lease ends in 2024.
T will likely keep some small presence in NJ due to its regional proximity to NYC ,but it will likely just be a token staff to offer executives some sort of base to operate from when in the city.
there is no new jersey "division". if you worked at T, you'd know that. you are not " asking for myself" lol

Why do people discuss this as if states in and of themselves are each separate organizations? Layoffs aren’t done by state.

So, you're telling me there's a chance! To be laid off, that would make my day as a bargained for employee, couldn't ask for anything more during this holiday season!
Each business unit at VP level must take a 10% cut due to the ongoing capital allocation constraints. Headcount reset with the new focus only on wireless and fiber build. Bumpy ride coming in 2023.
Although I'm in NJ, our group encompasses LNS, Classic T, Classic B, Classic S. We were told the week before Thanksgiving to expect the worst 1Q2023. We're expecting 10-15%.
Your resume should always be up to date not just because of bye bye times.
NJ is a waste land. Start updating.
