It seems there has been a lull in layoffs likely due to the latest tantrum. It seems that until he finds something new stateside to fixate on things will be in flux businesswise around the world. Will Dan continue his path or will it be a whole new plan afterwards?

Dan will march ahead as planned. He is like a soldier. Next layoff will bring him closer to his mission goals regardless of the president's behavior.
I would take Dan any day over the imperial leader. He seems steadier, less apt to be controlled by ego or emotion. Hold the stock during his time with us and you will win.
dont blame trump for Dan's lack of plan. Verizon is a US centric company. Dan is not the right person for the job. it is what it is. Dan doesnt know what it takes to run a company this size and how to run a telecom network. All he knows is to cut costs, buy back stocks and increase stock price. He is just winging it.
The best time to do it would be now, because then the orange Cheeto and his policies could get blamed for it
Dan is like a god compared to the last two.
Dan is not CEO material, period. Look at what he did at PayPal.
Finalize his plan? Eliminate costs, buy back stock, exit in 2 years, board and Dano collect bonuses and Vz will be aquired by Spectrum. Thats the plan!
A lull? What are you talking about? We just had the biggest forced reduction in my very lengthy career at the company. Part of those left payroll just last month. As Russo said, there will always be reductions. Some small. Some targeting specific groups. Some groups will decrease and some will grow. It’s a sad reality, but to say we are in a lull after losing 13K in Dec and Feb is an odd thing to say.
The cuts will come whatever is happening in the wider world
What's this latest tantrum?
Dan has the of a tiger. Focused the mideast is not on his radar.
Dan is wise. He will likely lay low till this blows over. The cuts will come before the end of the year.
Dan has no plan !
He makes as it goes. What sticks, sticks, and what not ... not.
